Eldergeist – Wild Elderberry, Honey and Spiced Vodka Liqueur

Eldergeist began with elderberries gathered from the nearby forest, where heavy clusters of dark fruit appear among the trees as summer begins to fade. Their deep colour and earthy, tart character called for a liqueur that felt equally connected to the woodland. Vodka keeps the fruit clear and expressive, while honey and sugar soften its natural sharpness. Vanilla and cinnamon bring gentle warmth, cardamom adds an aromatic lift, and pink peppercorns contribute a subtle floral spice. The result is dark, fragrant and quietly mysterious — a homemade liqueur carrying a little of the forest spirit in every glass.
